The new design should follow the design used in the Pictor. I would need a professional design for a film scanner (see prototype drawings Lyra). Example design which I like is Dieter Rahm who worked on many old school Braun designs. Shapes should be simple and functional. Any visual bolts or nuts should be prevented.
