Overview

We are seeking a talented designer to create the cover for the first novel in a sultry romance series. This project requires a balance of sophistication, sensuality, and visual storytelling to captivate readers. The winning design will not only be used for this book but will establish a style that can be carried through the entire series. The winner will be our designer of choice for future covers in the series.

We need book, ebook, and audiobook files.

Series Requirements

Consistent Character Design: The central characters—Sienna and Donovan—should be depicted in a way that makes them easily recognizable and reusable across future covers.

Style Cohesion:
The winning design should establish a distinct, cohesive style that represents the themes of the series (romance, forbidden dynamics, tension, and allure). Realistic. No AI.

Specific Cover Details:

Characters:
Sienna: A 26-year-old woman with vibrant red hair and a busty figure. She is attractive but plain, emphasizing a natural beauty. She wears a rose gold necklace with the word Brat engraved on it—this must be featured prominently in the design. She is dressed casually, with a hint of seduction.
Donovan: A tall, mid-40s man with a salt-and-pepper beard. He is strong and attractive but understated, dressed professionally, but approachable to reflect his position as a college professor.

Setting:
The scene should evoke the atmosphere of a college campus or library, with elements like bookshelves, lockers, or a hallway to set the tone.

Mood & Tone:
The romance between Sienna and Donovan should be subtly evident—teasing tension and intimacy without being overtly explicit.
The overall aesthetic should suggest sensuality and professionalism, with a focus on forbidden yet irresistible allure.
The style should be realistic. No AI.

Genre Alignment:
This is a sultry romance novel, so the cover should clearly signal the genre to potential readers while remaining elegant and sophisticated.

Contest Guidelines:

Submission Requirements
Format: High-resolution (300 DPI) artwork suitable for both print and digital formats.
File Types: JPEG, PNG, or PDF for submission; layered PSD or AI file if selected as the winner.
6" x 9" softcover. ISBN is attached. Page count not yet determined.
Illustrated cover. Realistic. No AI art.
