I need a creative logo designed for my town, Edgewood, New Mexico, USA. We are a SUB-RURAL area where the mountains meet the plains.
Here are the key elements I'm looking for:

- Style: The logo should not be as old fashioned as the former logo but not as plain as the current.
- Colors: Blue (mainly), green (if used minimal), brown (if used minimal), silver (if used accents), and black should be incorporated in a meaningful and balanced way.
- Imagery: The logo should incorporate the symbol of our Town South Mountain outline (which is the mountain shown on the website) and include a windmill. Beyond these, it should successfully evoke the ___Outdoor Lifestyle___ inherent to Edgewood's culture and setting (equestrian horses is one example, hiking another, motocross another).

Ideal skills and experience for the job include a strong background in graphic design, a knack for distilling complex concepts into clear visuals, and experience working with municipalities or other local organizations. If you've done logos for other towns or regions in the past, that's a definite plus. Through this project, I want to enhance the sense of belonging among the town's residents while also alluring prospective residents and tourists.
