I'm looking to hire someone experienced in Pine Script coding and futures trading. The project involves developing a relatively simple long only trading strategy for index futures, which I can backtest in TradingView. This work relies on specific variables and conditions, at the most basic level.
I will provide the core requirements here, but will discuss in more detail if you accept.
• It will use use the Bollinger band low; this signal is a proxy for my proprietary signal so MUST be developed as a output value called "x", with "x" then used throughout the requirements below. In other words I will replace the Bollinger value code with my own signal code.
• If no trade is open, and the price is trading above the signal (x) there is no entry for that day.
• The entry criteria for the strategy is when today's price crosses below the signal (x).
• The exit criteria is when a trade that is open tests the input(StopLoss) intraday i.e. Signal - input(StopLoss) points OR if the trade remans open at the close of the session (9pm UK time), the StopLoss is moved to the next days Signal (x - 5 points) in other words a daily trailing stop.
Other notes:
• The system trades input(n) contracts. I will need an input(ProfitTaker) in points where (n1) contract is lifted and hold the remaining (n2) contracts until the input(StopLoss) criteria above is met.
• If a trade is stopped intraday, a new trade can be initiated if the price crosses back above todays signal (x) this is treated as a new trade.
• Only 1 "trade" can be open at anyone time (consisting of the the (n) contracts).
• I use an hourly timeframe for analysis, but the entries and exists must be at the defined values above (not the close of the bar. This is very important (as results will vary if I use a 5 min vs a 1 hour bar chart).
• If I change the intraday timeframe from 1 hour to 5 mins (for a granular view of the chart), there should be no change to the strategy results, the strategy should function the same at 5 mins as 1 hour as the entry and exit values above are all fixed/absolute.
Additional development work may be available pending the successful outcome / quality of this smaller piece.

• Proficiency in Pine Script and understanding of futures trading.
• Experience with developing trading strategies.
• Demonstrable coding abilities.
