My 17-years of experience with journalism and digital production probably emanated from of an early interest in fantasy sports which I quickly discovered was the most effective way of keeping track of American sports (mostly the NBA and NFL) and keeping in touch with many of my old college buddies (Hampton University, VA).
While I enjoy the fast-paced nature and fresh challenges presented by my current digital marketing and product development roles within the fantasy sports and betting industries, it is the few hours that I spend writing a weekly sports column that probably brings me the most satisfaction.
Editorial writing is my core strength and combining this with an aptitude for product development and 12 years of management level experience within the sports betting industry places me in an advantageous position when it comes to understanding changing products and audiences.
But it’s my extensive experience with the design, production and marketing of many digital products that gives me an edge as it provides me the freedom to dream up innovative content while remaining focused on core product objectives and, most importantly, sensitive to audience needs.
