Hello my fellow African! First I will do sketches that will show the different component's materials and manufacturing methods of the sneaker washer. The problem I have seen with other sneaker washing machines: they don't clean the inside properly, and damage the outside. My design will have specialized washing implements that can wash the sneaker from all 4 sides simultaneously. After the concept development, I will do the detailed design in CAD (Onshape Professional). It is important to decide on the manufacturing methods before doing detailed design because then you can optimize the design for the manufacturing method. (e.g. laser cutting, injection moulding, and metal die casting or stamping all have different product structures). I will prototype the design using my 3D printer toolchanger which can print soluble supports allowing it to recreate any shape without the traditional overhang limitations of 3D printing. I will build the circuit or have a custom PCB made with pcbway or jlpcb. Energy delivery components such as motors, heating elements, lights or hydraulic systems will be selected to use commonly available parts to minimise cost and ensure repairability. My experience designing and testing high reliability products (medical devices) will result in above average quality and durability in your household products. I will ensure the device complies with the relevant product certification requirements, to minimize the time to market and ensure product safety.
