I'm looking for a professional to design a multi-port trigger device for me. The device should have:
- 8 x USB ports, each supporting HID and connected via a relay. Each port's output should not exceed 5v.
- Usage of a compact micro-controller, ideally Arduino or ESP32, with Wi-Fi capabilities.
- A disconnectable momentary button/trigger device.
- Three operational modes, details of which will be provided later.
- LED indicator lights for each USB port to show connectivity status.
- Ability to customize the timing of the momentary button/trigger device for various applications.
The ideal candidate for this project should have extensive experience in working with micro-controllers and USB port interfacing. Knowledge in relay types is crucial as I am open to various options with a focus on longevity and reliability.
In terms of specific functions, the USB ports will need to support volume control through 'Volume Up' and 'Volume Down' HID commands.
Skills and experiences that would be beneficial:
- Extensive work with Arduino and ESP32 micro-controllers.
- Design and implementation of multi-port USB devices.
- Understanding of HID USB port functions.
- Experience with designing reliable and long-lasting electronic devices.
Battery powered or powered via USB would be ideal.
I can layout a PCB, but a schematic would be necessary.
