Hello.. My name is Adi R. Saputra, from 2004 until 2008, I worked at PT. Earth Line, Jakarta, as GIS and Surveyor, to digitize and create a thematic map, especially for oil palm plantation areas using high-resolution satellite imagery which was corrected by GPS data. When the Tsunami disaster happened in Aceh, I was the one that was chosen by my company to work along with World Bank Project, detected the Tsunami impact in settlement areas by satellite imagery, and made a regional planning map for Aceh reconstruction. From 2008 to 2016, I worked at PT Geological Mining Technology. My responsibilities included analyzing and presenting mining work using Geographic Information Systems. Since May 2022, I have been a member of the GIS sub-field Risk Assessment Expert team for non-State Civil Apparatus at the National Disaster Management Agency (Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana). By accepting jobs like this, I can further develop my GIS skills, which will be useful for future humanitarian missions. I have advanced knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and mapping software such as ArcGIS-Pro Enterprise, QGIS, MapInfo, and Geodetic GPS, as well as UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) software such as DJI Go, Drone Deploy, Avenza Map, Agisoft and also Global Mapper. I have advanced computer skills using multi-operating systems such as LINUX and Windows including Graphic Design software such as Corel Draw and Photoshop.
