Infrastructure Setup on Azure

Overview: We are seeking a skilled freelancer to design and implement a robust infrastructure setup on Microsoft Azure for our organization. This project involves creating a scalable, secure, and efficient cloud environment to support our applications and services. Scope of Work: Architecture Design: Design a scalable architecture that includes virtual machines, databases, networking components, and storage solutions on Azure. Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery capabilities are incorporated into the design. Azure Services Implementation: Provision and configure virtual machines (Windows/Linux) based on the workload requirements. Implement Azure SQL Database or other suitable database solutions for data storage. Set up Azure Virtual Network (VNet), subnets, security groups, and network security policies. Configure Azure Load Balancer or Application Gateway for load distribution. Implement Azure Blob Storage or Azure Files for scalable file storage needs. Security and Compliance: Implement Azure Security Center for continuous security monitoring and threat detection. Configure Azure Firewall and Network Security Groups (NSGs) to control traffic flow and enforce security policies. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, etc.). Monitoring and Logging: Set up Azure Monitor for proactive monitoring of resources and applications. Configure logging and alerts using Azure Log Analytics and Azure Monitor. Automation and DevOps: Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform. Set up CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or other suitable tools for automated deployments. Documentation and Handover: Document the infrastructure setup, architecture diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures. Provide knowledge transfer and handover sessions to our internal team for ongoing management and support. Deliverables: Detailed architecture design document.
