Permanent international trade inspector based in ho chi minh - open to bidding

*** This job is available only to applicants that live in Ho Chi Minh / Vietnam *** Proponent will have to ocasionally visit a factory in Ho Chi Minh, and perform inspections on goods that will be sent overseas on behalf of Brazilian buyers. It is always the same factory, small variety of products. Inspection will at times be by sampling, or it could be a full pre-shipping inspection. Sometimes there will be the need to go there 3-5 days in a row, other times only a single visit might be necessary. If everything goes right with shipments, the odesk-hired inspector will have a continuous flow of work ad eternum. Key skills needed are a lot of common sense, ability to learn basic product characteristics / common mistakes to look for, attention to details, and very good ability to maintain long term relationships with the factory and with us. A successful engagement will be if we are able to substantially lower our problems in Brazil due to low quality products being shipped.
