I am in need of a reliable and efficient logistics and shipping agent. The main tasks would involve collating items from different factories, negotiating prices with said factories, and coordinating the packing and shipping of these items to Australia. Agent must be based in China
Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting manufactured goods from various factories
- Negotiating competitive prices with factories to ensure cost-effective shipping
- Overseeing ( not necessarily in person)the standard packaging of these goods into a shipping container
These items will primarily be manufactured goods, so experience in this field would be highly advantageous. You will need to be able to secure the best possible prices, so strong negotiation skills are a must. Coordination will be key in ensuring all goods are packed and shipped in a timely manner.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience in logistics and shipping
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience with manufactured goods
- Excellent coordination abilities
