I'm in need of a competent company secretary in India, to assist with our MCA compliance. This is a project-based role, but it may potentially evolve into a long-term relationship if the right freelancer is found. Key Responsibilities: - Filing of Annual Returns: You must be adept at the timely filing of our company's annual returns with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. - Maintenance of Statutory Registers: Keeping our statutory records and registers up-to-date is crucial to ensure compliance. Your role would involve meticulous record-keeping and regular updates. - Preparation of Board Resolutions: I require a professional who is knowledgeable on the legal framework for board decisions and capable of drafting these resolutions as needed. Ideal Candidate: - Company Secretary Certification: A CS certification is a must-have for this role, along with a solid understanding of the Companies Act and other relevant regulations. - Experience with MCA Compliance: Previous experience with MCA compliance and a good understanding of the nuances of Indian corporate governance is essential. - Attention to Detail: Due to the legal implications of any oversight, I need someone who is meticulous and detail-oriented in their work. - Good Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively, especially in a cross-cultural virtual environment, is also important. - Proactive Approach: I value someone who is not just reactive to instructions, but who can proactively identify and address compliance needs.
