We are seeking an experienced independent journalist specializing in legal and fraud-related reporting. This position focuses on interviewing defendants involved in fraud cases and producing in-depth, engaging articles. The role requires a commitment to investigative accuracy, journalistic integrity, and discretion. Key Responsibilities: • Interview & Research: Conduct thorough interviews with defendants in fraud cases, focusing on • Verify sources and evidence to maintain journalistic accuracy and credibility. gaining a nuanced understanding of the situation, background, and context. • Report Writing: Create well-researched drafts based on the gathered information. Articles should be informative, engaging, and able to meet the expectations of legal and general readership. • Publication: Secure publication of articles on approved third-party websites and blogs, maintaining the standards of A-list publications. Compensation Details: • Outreach Payment: $350 for each initial outreach and scheduling of defendant interviews. • Draft Payment: $350 for draft creation, provided there is sufficient information to produce a compelling, accurate article. • Publishing Payment: $350 per article once published on 3rd-party websites and blogs. Requirements: • Professional Background: Demonstrated experience as an investigative journalist, ideally with a focus on legal or fraud cases. • Publishing Network: Ability to publish articles on A-list or high-traffic third-party platforms. • Confidentiality Agreements: Must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and a Non-Compete Agreement (NCA) to ensure discretion and protect client interests. Skills: • Strong investigative and research skills. • Exceptional writing ability, with the capacity to produce compelling, factual content. • Knowledge of legal processes and familiarity with fraud case dynamics is a plus.
