Abstract
Continue and complete the development of wordpress/woocommerce plugin that will facilitate a bi-directional connection to Genius ERP via the Genius API. The plugin will help maintain order relationships between our online channel and our ERP/accounting system.
There has been significant development on this plugin already, and we are now looking for a skilled and experienced Wordpress/Woocommerce developer to button up the base functionality and add some polish. Final deliverable should be clean, well documented, and be in line with WP’s best practices for plugins.

Plugin consists of 6 basic functionalities, summarized as follows:
Securely generate and store credentials for connecting with Genius API
When a new order is placed in Woocommerce, a corresponding order should be created in Genius with the relevant information populated (eg: customer information, product, price, quantity, shipping, taxes, coupons, and refund data
At one or several times during the day, the plugin should check Genius for shipping updates on orders it created. If shipping has been updated, the shipping data must be pulled into the order, the order marked complete in Woo, and the relevant emails sent out to customers.
On command, an admin should be able to prompt the recreation of an order or batch of orders in Genius from info in Woocommerce, and Genius should accurately reflect any order changes.

For all of these functionalities, any activity should be logged in a file stored on the server.
In its current state, the plugin has the skeleton of the above ironed out, but is missing some functionality and is not fully tested. The main goal of the developer will be to finish development and assist our team with QA to ensure we have a robust and reliable solution.
The ideal candidate will be located in the US, or at least be available for work/communication during typical US business hours. It is absolutely required that the candidate be experienced with PHP, Javascript, JSON, and Woocommerce’s order system. Additionally, they should be able to advise us of any performance or security considerations that might disrupt the functionality of the plugin, and work accordingly with our team to mitigate them.
