AI Developer for instant student performance metrics in Learning Management System

Project Details $10,000.00 – 15,000.00 AUD We are currently looking to engage an AI Developer to provide functionality for instant performance metric feedback, across a number of inputs and outputs, for students undertaking a range of informal and formal activities in our newly created Learning Management System (LMS). The LMS is part of a recent new website/e-commerce build in Laravel/PHP that will be launched shortly. Academic Group is an education provider in Western Australia, delivering courses, books and digital resources to secondary schools and the public sector. The LMS incorporates digital learning modules (asynchronous – students access in their own time with no teacher involvement) across four learning journey stages and fully integrated with our Books (digital versions) and face-to-face courses (online file depository for these courses), so students can access any or all of these learning platforms, digitally, for any particular subject matter. Specifically, the LMS digital learning has activities, for every learning journey stage comprising topic overview, course map, videos, various types of question banks, various types of interactives, worksheet downloads, and test banks, as well as functionality metrics for percentage of all activities completed %, videos watched % and videos to watch %. The AI developer must provide input into the design and build the front-end coding as well as the essential back-end AI capability into the LMS page. Academic Group will take advise as to the appropriate AI program to incorporate into the platform. The AI would give a statement after certain individual activities are completed, which gives a snapshot on a number of related outputs [i.e. ‘impressive effort on this exam activity, your best result in x attempts and in the x quickest time, you were particularly strong on the x type of activities, suggesting you like learning to the x style. To improve further, try more of x activities in the x and x learning stage, or keep mastering your x learning style for professions in x, x, and x’.] Also, the AI outputs will provide additional metrics for teachers in the grading/activity centre of the LMS. We would like to receive expressions of interest and your initial tender proposal and price. We will then shortlist with an initial interview to review your portfolio and check availability and timelines. This project will commence early 2025. To be considered, applicants will need to demonstrate they have; 1) Successfully completed projects in similar AI customer and learning contexts 2) An online portfolio of work 3) 2 x Recent and contactable references 4) Dedicated project manager 5) In-house full-time designer and developers team 6) Completed similar projects in the Education sector or demonstratable relevance 7) Fluent in English written and verbal.
