I need someone to help me get my RICOH SP 213Nw PCL 6
printer working over my home wifi network from a windows laptop running Windows 10
Its a secondhand printer, and I was able to make it work ONCE but now when I try and print it keeps saying it's OFFLINE. But it isn't.
The Smart Organising Monitor is able to find the printer and to print test and configuration pages and give me things like ink and paper levels.
Under "printer driver selection" the only option showing is "Connect Printer". But the driver is installed - the Printer properties say so.
So I can Print from Smart Organising Monitor but not from the normal Print Queue. The print queue keeps saying the printer is offline and there are no values in either the port, file size or status column. Does this suggest that it's a printer driver issue on my laptop?
I don't know why Windows systems need to make all this stuff so complicated - there are about 20 different windows and 20,000 options just for trying to print to a single printer, and the Ricoh documentation is completely incomprehensible.
One other issue may be that on the printer configuration page I printed, under Host interface it says DCHP Active and gives an IP address, but under IPv6 Configuration it says DNS Method: AUTO-OBTAIN (DHCP) but then under DHCP it says "Inactive" and doesn't give any IP address under IP Address (DHCP). I have no idea what any of that means, but hopefully that is some help.
Please don't reply by just copying and pasting your standard text - I want to know who can fix this problem, and has understood the issue. I've attached some screenshots to hopefully help with that.
So please start your response by typing "I CAN FIX IT" to show you've read and understood the job - all other responses will be ignored.
Please also let me know what you'll charge to fix the issue (hourly or fixed rate), and what your charge would be if you cannot fix it.
Thanks.
