I have 3+ exp in Barcode scanner app development. I had worked on Honeywell Barcode scanner as well as CSL and Motorola Products. 1. Let me know Which Barcode scanner you have. Below are the required modules need to be developed : Desktop Application 1. User Login 2. Document Master (System Generated Barcode for documents as well as support manual barcode) 3. Document Barcode print (required if barcode not going to be printed on the document instead pasted on it) 4. Location Master (Location Master i.e. which stores specific location as per your need) It is advisable to put barcode for location also. It will be easier to track document movement while Barcode Document scanning process (Movement Scan) 5. Document Movement 4. Maintain Document movement history 5. Report for Document movement Barcode Scanner 1. Login Screen 2. Movement Scan (update current document location as per Barcode scanning) 3. Document Search It is advisable to use .net for this. Else we can use Swing. Note - Time will depends upon availability of dll and library files of Barcode scanner. Let me know your response.
