Job Description: IT Consultant (Remote)
About Appcar
At Appcar ([login to view URL]), we are looking for an IT consultant to optimize our existing platform and improve its performance. This crucial role involves identifying components, processes, and opportunities for improvement within the current infrastructure. In addition, the consultant will support the RFP process sent to suppliers, thus ensuring the quality of deliverables and satisfaction with the contracted services.
IT Consultant Responsibilities
The IT consultant will be responsible for:
Evaluating the existing platform to identify areas for improvement.
Assisting in the creation and review of RFPs for supplier selection.
Controlling the quality of deliverables provided by suppliers.
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure that implemented solutions meet functional and technical requirements.
Reporting monthly on the work performed, estimating an average of 15 hours per month during the first three months.
Job Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with:
Knowledge and experience in contracting IT services in various specialties, including DBA, Full Stack development, and mobile applications.
Strong focus on security and data protection.
Experience in AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3, VPC, etc.) and C# skills (desirable).
Skills in managing information management systems using tools such as Confluence and Jira.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Spanish fluency required
Desirable Skills
In addition to the aforementioned requirements, the following will be valued:
Experience in agile methodologies for project management.
Knowledge of data analysis and report generation.
Ability to lead and facilitate meetings with different stakeholders.
