Project Overview: Staff Shop is looking for a freelance independent contractor to ghost write content monthly to be used on the Staff Shop blog page, social media platforms and email marketing efforts. The ideal bidder will have experience ghostwriting 500-750 word blog posts on a variety of topics, as well as creating social media posts which “tease” said posts, pair them with visual elements to gain traction across varying social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram and Facebook. Project Goals: Staff Shop has a strong online presence, offering new content on a monthly basis, strengthening customer loyalty, organic search results / SEO and credibility as an expert in the marketplace. Topics and concepts conceived by the CEO, COO and Staff Shop internal team are articulated in a compelling and technically sound written format, in a “voice” that resembles that of the original concept originator Staff Shop’s social media manager has additional monthly content to incorporate into their rotation, saving the cost of the creation of one post per month Scope of Work: The successful Bidder will use a combination of point-form notes, video material, and/or verbal communication provided by Staff Shop to prepare one 500-750 word Blog Post each month The successful Bidder will use each completed Blog post to create a Facebook post, an Instagram post and a LinkedIn post, delivering to Staff Shop the photo and caption to be used, which will direct viewers back to Staff Shop’s website to view the full post. Staff Shop will provide the forthcoming topic and relevant supporting information by the first week of each month, and the Bidder will deliver the article within twenty-five (25) calendar days Current Roadblocks and Barriers to Success Blog topics require varying degrees of creativity on the part of the Ghostwriter. In some cases, Staff Shop has a very specific topic and a lot of relevant background information that need only be assembled into a coherent article. In other cases, Staff Shop will have only a high-level idea for a topic or subject matter, and the Ghostwriter will need to develop this idea based on their own research and/or experience Staff Shop would prefer a flat rate over an hourly rate, since it is very difficult to budget and predict costs, not knowing how quickly a Ghostwriter might work, how efficiently they work, and how much time they need to spend to turn in a finished post Evaluation Metrics and Criteria Cost: Best value for dollar Style: Past work or sample work aligns with the tone and approach of materials currently posted on Staff Shop platforms Total Solution: Proposal is highly prescriptive in terms of the ideal process, costing structure, and communication methods to be used between the Bidder and the Purchaser. Please include a sample piece written for Staff Shop, to provide an example of how you would handle creating a post for Staff Shop on a given topic. Please use the topic “How important YOUR WHY & VALUES are for business and partnerships.” A full blog post is not required - we are looking for a sample that demonstrates the ability to write in the Staff Shop voice using examples of Staff Shop resources that are publicly available ([login to view URL]) .
