Contest Brief

I am looking for a talented interior designer or kitchen specialist to create a functional, stylish, and well-thought-out design for my kitchen, utility room, and walk-in pantry in a modern new-build home. The goal is to achieve a seamless, practical, and aesthetically superb layout that maximizes storage, workflow, and efficiency.

Kitchen Design:
Layout planning for an efficient and ergonomic kitchen.
Cabinetry, storage, and organization solutions.
Island design.
Appliance placement (built-in and freestanding options). We want all the appliances expected in a modern luxury kitchen.
Material and color palette recommendations.
Lighting plan (task, accent, and ambient lighting).
TV Lounge area must be included.

Utility Room Design:
Functional layout with space for laundry (washer & dryer).
Additional storage for household items.
Worktop and sink area considerations.
Space for drying clothes, ironing, and general utility tasks - if there are ways to seamlessly build these into the room with posibility of them being easily hidden away when needed it would be ideal.

Walk-In Pantry Design:
Smart shelving and storage solutions.
Space optimization for food, appliances, and kitchen essentials.
Possible integration of countertop space or small prep area.
Easy access and organization features.

Key Considerations:
Style Preference: Modern, clean, and timeless with high-quality finishes.
Functionality: Space should be designed for ease of use, organization, and efficiency.
Storage Solutions: Maximizing storage without compromising aesthetics.
Lighting: Well-planned lighting for both functionality and ambiance.
Integration with the Rest of the House: The design should complement the overall style of the home.

Ideal Candidate:
Experience in kitchen and interior design.
Ability to create detailed 3D renderings.
Knowledge of modern, high-quality materials and finishes.
Strong understanding of workflow and ergonomics in kitchen spaces.
Ability to provide practical and creative solutions for storage.
Deliverables:
2D Layout Plans (floor plan with measurements and zoning).
3D Renderings (showing materials, lighting, and overall aesthetic).
Material and Finish Recommendations (cabinetry, countertops, flooring, backsplashes, etc.).
Storage & Organization Plan (smart storage ideas for all three spaces).
Lighting Plan (task, accent, and general lighting suggestions).

Additional notes:
In the drawing attached the areas are already zoned but please note these can be altered as you see fit as long as they fit within that overall space.
Ceiling Height is 3.2m
Also attached is the CAD drawing but note it differs somewhat from the other drawing attached but both layouts are options or any layout you feel better uses the space.
In the CAD, the area over the dining table is double height - this again is optional and does not have to remain.
