I need you to develop some software for me that can manage different files. It would store the files as a job then when run would copy the files to a specified location, then when required delete those files when the job has been run. some file manipulation will be required but that might be stage 2 I work with companies that have CAD/CAM software that generate a bunch of different files to run on their CNC machinery. Some of the files are the G-Code that runs the CNC machine and then others that run the labelling and then there can be more depending on what CNC machine and software combination. Sometimes the files need to be manipulated depending on the application. The software I need created sits between the CAD/CAM software and the CNC Machinery. At the moment the files get sent to the CNC machine and then they are run however there is no management currently for these files so sit there until manually deleted or overwritten with another job. This is what I want the software to manage.

Interesting job on managing file but not File management. Pretty interesting Can we talk further in details in depth I can provide below technology stack if needed. Hello I am working in Java/J2EE technologies for 17+ years. I worked in Springboot /Spring Framework using Spring REST, Spring Microservices, Security, Data/Repository with MySQL, MongoDB, PostGre, Neo4j, Cassandra, Oracle, DB2 etc. Also worked in Struts, Hibernate, JPA, SOAP services using both old Axis1 and Axis2. Have worked in PHP scripting, Unix Shells (c shell, bash korn), Perl and Python. Have worked in Servlet, JSP, PHP, HTML/5, Bootstrap CSS, Angular 1-7, ReactJS, jQuery. Also worked in various Linux and Unix including IBM AIX, Sun/Solarix, Digital Unix, IRIX with System administration. Have Bigdata/Hadoop exposure for several years as well. I worked in Hadoop, Mapreduce, Spark (Streaming & MLLib), Kafka, ELK Stack, Cassandra, MongoDB, Postgre. I implemented above using Java Scala and Python. Can we talk further on this? Thank you!

Hello, before I can start, I need to know two things: how are the files transferred to the CNC machine and if the machine provides feedback to the computer that the job is completed successfully? If the former is through a USB connection like I suspect and the latter is true, I will be able to code for you a simple file manager that sits between you and the CNC machine. You upload the files to the manager, it passes them on to the CNC machine and upon receiving feedback of a successful job from it, the manager will delete the file. If that's not the case, however, I will be more than happy to get in touch with you and find out more details about this project, and come up with a solution that fits your requirements. Cheers!
