As a Social Communication student at the Universidad de Los Andes (Venezuela) I started practicing some of the basics of short films making. Later, I did my internship in Vale TV where I had the opportunity to work with Eduardo Morreo an experienced and awarded filmmaker who studied at the London International Film School. When I was about to finish my bachelor degree, I made a sequence shot with which I won the Best Short film of the “Maraton Cine-átomo” at the Venezuelan Film Festival 2006. Afterwards, I won a grant to develop a feature film screenplay called “Honoris Causa”, a sort of a biography based in Don Luis Zambrano's life and work. This project became years later in a fiction serie, which is the harder challenge I have ever had. Astrolabio Producciones is the name of my company here in Venezuela. My company was hired by Switch Foundation from Aruba in order to work on this job. I did the screenplay based in what they were looking to convey through the advertising campaign. The client was a foundation that gives advice to people with problems such as parents whose kids are consuming drugs, or starting their sexual life or acquiring undesirable behavior at home. They wanted to let people know their phone number and their web page as well. Thus, they read the screenplay, they liked the idea, nevertheless as we were working in a very tight budget, we had to work with the minimum number of crew members and art resources. I personally did the photography direction, we used a Blackmagic, and did a color correction with its software DaVinci. At the end, the work was shown to the press in a movie theater and everyone was very happy with the final product.

"Independencia Tecnológica" is a documentary tv series made with the aim of registering and showing the latest scientific and technological advances of innovators and researchers from Venezuela, using an agile audiovisual language that mix not only the classical interviews and visual evidence, but also 2D and 3D motion graphics, as well as fictional recreations when proper. It was broadcasted nationally by an educational channel called Conciencia TV in 2014 and 2015.
