Database Software

Need a single talented programmer that can re-make a software we already had developed many years ago. Need to create a multi-user SQL version. We need to add some features, and optimize some others. GUI can be ugly and plain, as long as it's easy to look at all day.

You must be comfortable with using SDKs and ActiveX plugins..

We will be capturing images from several IP cameras, a Secugen fingerprint reader, and a Topaz signature pad, so you must be able to use their SDKs.

Will need a reporting interface to be able to see totals, and past transactions w images for financial records and for purchase history.

At end of each day there needs to be a closeout procedure that does the following:

- Will need to generate an XML file based on a selectable date, it should generate all transactions for that day in a custom schema that we have - no images in XML, text only, and automatically save it to a predetermined directory

- it should then take all of the images associated with those transactions for that day copy them to a separate folder and rename them using information from some of the database fields. After renaming, the images should automatically upload to an SFTP server.

The way that it works currently is our customers will come in with different types of materials. We have a system similar to a point of sale except with image capture abilities and we are purchasing items not selling...

Customer comes in and an employee will put their ID in the ID scanner and scan the ID.. the program snaps picture of the ID and saves it in a folder, and also extracts the text data like name,address, bday, etc in a database, stores ID pic w customer ID text. An employee will put the material on a scale, Above the scale is an IP camera. In our program we will put the weight of the material and select which material it is and it will calculate the price we owe the customer... When we click save and continue it automatically snaps a picture of that material on the scale and stores it with the material weight cost etc in database, and we continue with the process until they have no more materials. We then capture an image of their thumb print, face using a 2nd IP camera, and capture an image of the signature pad. and save all of them with that transaction. At the end of the transaction it prints a receipt with their signature at the bottom using the captured signature image. All of those images will be attached to that transaction ticket. If it's possible to just capture the face, ID, fingerprint, and signature images one time and associate to a customer, then the next time the customer comes in we will not have to capture the images again we will only have to capture the material images each time a customer comes in for a transaction.. the customer's name is selected and the pictures automatically populate and the material images or added to those for that transaction?

At the end of the day all of those images for that day need to be renamed to the special format sent to an SFTP server, while still retaining them locally for the reports section described above.

Will need a full installer, and installation documentation.

Will be ran exclusively on Windows PC w 4th gen or higher core i5 or i7s w 8GB RAM and SSD. SQL database and images will be stored in a shared network folder so that multiple PCs can simultaneously do transactions, up to 6 users. All data will be hosted locally, one of the workstations will act as the SQL/file share.

Can do it in whatever languages you feel is most optimal/best for speed.

Attached images of current software so you can get an idea of what should look like. It stores all data in an MS ACCESS MDB database. This is what we need remade. I can send YouTube videos of the current program and also send all installation files so you can install the software on your own computer and play with it so you have an in-depth idea of exactly what we need.
