I need a program that would allow me to make calls from my computer while I'm on the internet. The software so be installed on the local machine and should be ISP independent. In other words, it should not matter if I have a Dial-up or Broadband connection. Also, if I make a long distance call, it should not show up on my phone bill if I should use dial-up to my ISP. Also, the software should work with any existing Sound Card on the machine. Finally, I should only be able to make the call if I'm already connected to the Internet to anyone I like. I DO NOT want to go through existing websites such as Dialpad or any others that offer such a service. So the process should be such: 1 - Sign on to the Internet using my existing ISP. 2 - Once connected, bring up the program and it will give me the ability to dial any number I'd like. 3 - Should provide straight two way communication and clarity. Should be transparent to the person on the other end that I'm calling from my computer. 4 - Can terminate the call and make another whenever I like. I'm willing to entertain any serious bidders on this project, but will only pay for it once I have tested it to my satisfaction. The interface should also be simple and easy for me to use. And should come with an Address Book that would allow me to store and retrieve names, numbers, address, etc. Should I decided to select a name from the address book, I should be able to dial it with a click as long as I'm already on the Internet. Thanks and Good luck.
