Hello. You can be having this error because ChromaDB stores vectors (Dimensional arrays of numbers), not text chunks. Once you splitted the texts, you have to send them to the embedding model, and then, to ChromaDB to store them. You will also need to match the embedding ID's with the original chunk and document metadata to perform the retrieval properly in the next steps.
