Hi, I am an Embedded system developer and have experience of 7+ years. I have experience of working on similar device, which is based on ESP32. I think I can quickly modify and be able to deploy the same. There is one device which we developed to monitor power consumption using an Eastron energy meter (RS485 Modbus based similar) and collect data from it to cloud. I have designed PCB and developed firmware for the same. The second device (SONOFF customized POW 320D ) had sensor of its own which allowed us to calculate the electric parameters and upload to cloud. The webserver on ESP32 also displays this data live.
