I'm seeking a professional who can assist in reorganizing and reworking the event type, description, main categories, subcategories, and specific services keywords. The aim is to provide vendors with a broader selection of options to present to users.

Job Overview:

GigResource, a dynamic event planning platform, seeks a detail-oriented professional to overhaul and optimize its internal keyword structure. The selected individual will ensure that event types, descriptions, categories, and specific vendor services are well-organized, logical, and align seamlessly with the platform’s event-focused concept. This is not an SEO project; instead, the focus is on improving internal categorization and keyword selection to enhance user-vendor interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Keyword Audit and Analysis:

Analyze and evaluate the current event types, descriptions, main categories, subcategories, and vendor services.

Identify gaps, redundancies, and irrelevant keywords that disrupt user experience.

Competitor Research:

Review and gather keywords from competitors’ platforms.

Compare existing keywords with competitor data to identify improvements and additions.

Categorization Overhaul:

Reorganize and refine the category structure to ensure clear alignment between event types, descriptions, and services.

Ensure logical relationships between main categories, subcategories, and vendor-specific services.

Content Refinement:

Remove keyword stuffing and irrelevant keywords.

Integrate long-tail keywords that reflect user intent and are specific to the events industry.

Customization for Event Types:

Ensure categories and services reflect relevant cultural or event-specific details (e.g., a Chinese New Year party should not include unrelated services like kosher catering).

Add new and meaningful keywords that reflect unique event offerings.

Documentation and Collaboration:

Document all changes made for internal review.

Work closely with the Project Manager to align with GigResource’s goals and platform vision.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in keyword optimization, categorization, or similar roles.

Strong understanding of event planning and related vendor services.

Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.

Familiarity with competitor research and data analysis.

Proficiency in tools like Excel for organizing and tracking categorization changes.

Project Details:

Timeline: 2 weeks to 1 month.

Deliverables:

Optimized and reorganized keyword structure.

Clear alignment between event types, descriptions, categories, and services.
