Meticulous Content Editor Needed

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Content Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for producing high-quality content, a sharp eye for detail, and excellent organizational skills. You will be responsible for editing, proofreading, and improving various types of content to ensure it meets our quality standards and aligns with the brand’s voice.
>Key Responsibilities:
- Content Review: Edit, proofread, and refine articles, blogs, social media posts, and other digital content for grammar, punctuation, style, and tone.
- Content Optimization: Ensure content is optimized for SEO, readability, and engagement.
- Brand Consistency: Maintain brand voice and ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with writer and ai graphic/image creator to finalize content.
- Fact-Checking: Verify facts and ensure the accuracy of information in all content pieces.
- Content Management: Organize, track, and manage content across platforms and maintain a content calendar.
- Feedback: Provide constructive feedback to writers and suggest improvements for future content.
>Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Content Editor, Copy Editor, or similar role.
- Exceptional grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.
- Strong understanding of content optimization for SEO.
- Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Our time zone is UTC -7, PDT (Pacific Daylight Time, Vancouver BC Canada)
Required days: Monday to Friday from approx 10am to 12pm PST; additional hours as needed
Approx. 10 hours per week to start immediately.
Hours to be increased as needed.
