Design and develop the hardware for a universal digital display remote, including:
Microcontroller selection and integration (e.g., ESP32, STM32, or similar).
Circuit design for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, IR, RF communication modules, and laser activation.
Power management to ensure optimal battery life and low power consumption.
PCB layout and prototyping to create working hardware components.
Integration of sensors for device detection and communication switching.
Work closely with the firmware development team to ensure compatibility between hardware and software systems.
Test and validate hardware designs, troubleshoot issues, and iterate on improvements.
Provide detailed documentation for the hardware design, circuit schematics, and PCB layouts.
Support the team in creating a reliable, robust hardware solution.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong experience with embedded systems design and development (e.g., microcontrollers, sensors, wireless communication).
Proficient in circuit design and PCB layout using tools like KiCad, Altium Designer, or EAGLE.
Experience with wireless communication technologies (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, IR, RF).
Solid understanding of power management techniques for low-power devices.
Hands-on experience in hardware prototyping and testing.
Familiarity with laser modules and integrating them into devices (preferred).
Ability to troubleshoot and debug hardware issues.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote team.
Preferred Experience:
Previous work on consumer electronics or IoT devices (e.g., remotes, smart home devices).
Experience with energy-efficient electronics and designing low-power systems.
Knowledge of 3D printing or other prototyping methods (preferred).
Familiarity with the full product lifecycle, from design through testing and iteration.
