Excel VBA for Roster Automation

I am searching for an experienced VBA coder to help in automating the task of assigning shifts in our duty roster, which we manage on Microsoft Excel. I have tried formulating the code with the assistance of ChatGPT but encountered some errors. It is not complicated work and people experienced in VBA code should be able to finish in a few hours. The VBA code should facilitate the following duties:
1. Assignment of Staff to Shifts: The main functionality will be to automate the appointment of workers to their respective shifts.
2. Constraints for Shift Assignment: There are some specific conditions to consider when assigning personnel to shifts. These include:
- Ensuring there's a minimum rest period between shifts.
- Avoiding scheduling a worker for too many shifts consecutively.
- Ensuring fair distribution of shifts among all staff.
- Restricting the number of male and female staff per shift.
- Setting appropriate number of rest days.
The successful candidate must have prior experience with VBA, and have tackled similar projects. This assignment demands a good understanding of Excel, VBA and roster management. We need a coder who can create a user-friendly, time-saving solution. Doubts and clarifications should be clarified promptly to avoid miscommunication and ensure the project works as intended.
