I'm seeking a talented artist for a realistic pencil drawing of 6 individuals. This piece will be used as the cover for an ebook, so it should have a universal appeal and high-quality detail.
Key Requirements:
- The drawing should be set against a plain background. This is to ensure that the focus remains on the characters and their interactions.
- The style of the drawing is realistic pencil work. Artists with a portfolio showcasing this style will be given preference.
- The final piece must be suitable for publication as an ebook cover, so it should be professionally presented and able to withstand scrutiny.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in pencil drawing, particularly in a realistic style.
- Prior experience with ebook cover art.
- Ability to create engaging, detailed drawings.
Image must be group pencil portrait of 3 beautiful women in front of 3 handsome athletic men. Men are: a White of 5'11" of somewhat plainer features with light brown hair, a very good looking White/Native American half-breed of 6'2" with straight black hair who could pass for Hungarian, and a handsome Black of 6'8" height and moderate skin color and short, curly black hair. The women are: a petite, buxom blond beauty of 5'0", a singularly beautiful black haired White/Oriental less buxom than the blond, of 5'8" height, and a large, 6'2" auburn beauty of mixed White-Australo-Hawaiian-Hindi ancestry, also less buxom than the blond. All are dressed in 1800 clothing style, with the women displaying prominent cleavage [see pics of Dolly Madison] of that era. Both groups are in ascending size sequence left to right, so the shortest woman is in front of the shortest man, etc. Picture preferably should be be waist-up, and not necessarily full body. No head coverings.
At top, book title is: BOOK OF DAWNTREADERS Abolitionist Time Travelers on two separate lines. W S DARTER III is at bottom of cover [author].
The ebook for this cover refers to such a group drawing in several places, the first of which is quoted to clarify context: "We had written ahead to the governor, proposing to improve their coffee and add some other crops to the local economy, and to our surprise a reply was waiting for us in Miami, inviting us to stay as guests in the governor's palace. We had described the women as ravishing beauties [true] and accomplished musicians [also true], promising memorable musical entertainment and carefully implying much more salacious offerings without really coming out and saying much of anything specific. Several chuckles all around writing that. Sailor had done one of her caricature sketches of the group on the back of the letter so he would know what we looked like."
Deliverable is to be a .JPG file conforming to the Amazon specification of ebook covers.
