WooCommerce Backend Category Display Problem

We are experiencing an issue with WooCommerce product categories within the WordPress backend. All categories and subcategories are displaying correctly on the frontend of the website, but they are missing or not displaying properly in the admin backend. We suspect it’s a minor configuration or caching issue, but it has proven time-consuming to troubleshoot. No recent changes have affected the frontend display or other site functionality, and this problem seems isolated to the backend view.
Tasks:
Database Check:
Review the wp_terms, wp_term_taxonomy, and wp_term_relationships tables to ensure category and subcategory structures are intact.
Confirm correct associations between product categories and products, ensuring all category data is present.
Cache Clear:
Redis cache has been cleared, and Cloudflare caching has been temporarily disabled to rule out cache issues. Confirm if there are any further caching layers or settings within WordPress that might affect the backend only.
Backend Troubleshooting:
Review WordPress and WooCommerce settings to identify any discrepancies or incorrect settings that might hide categories in the admin view.
Ensure that plugins or settings, such as Elementor or WooCommerce-specific plugins, are not interfering with backend visibility.
Plugin and Theme Compatibility:
Check for any compatibility issues between the electron-elementor-addons plugin (used on the frontend) and WooCommerce, as well as the active theme.
Test disabling the plugin or temporarily switching to a default WordPress theme to see if backend visibility is restored.
Error Logs and Debugging:
Enable WordPress debugging mode to capture any backend-specific errors that may help pinpoint the issue.
Review logs for Deprecated or Warning notices that might interfere with backend functionality.
Solution Implementation:
Identify and implement a solution to ensure categories and subcategories display consistently within the WordPress backend.
Provide a short report outlining the fix and any recommended future steps.
Skills Required:
Extensive experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, and MySQL.
Knowledge of database structure for WordPress taxonomies.
Strong understanding of debugging tools, caching layers (Redis, Cloudflare), and plugin compatibility issues.
Notes:
We have not observed any other functionality issues on the site.
There is a recent backup in place if needed.
