The project involves creating an intelligent visitor management system that will be equipped with a PIR HC-SR501 motion sensor, microphone, camera, and speaker connected to the Raspberry Pi. The system will be capable of detecting visitor presence, requesting credentials, and processing basic information. It will also cross-reference a Firebase-hosted database to identify family members and facilitate communication between the visitor and the host. Additionally, the system will log visitor details, manage appointment types, and provide conversational responses, all as per your specifications.
To execute this project, I will begin by integrating the necessary hardware components with the Raspberry Pi and configuring them to work seamlessly together. Following this, I will develop a Python-based application that handles visitor interaction, database queries, and voice communication.
To enable conversational interaction with the visitor, I will implement speech recognition and synthesis features. Finally, I will conduct thorough remote testing with you to ensure that the system functions as intended, making any necessary adjustments along the way.
