Dear Sir/Ma'am, In the year 2018, I received a Ph.D. in Population Studies from the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai, with the thesis title "Socio-Economic and Occupational Mobility among Cobblers in Mumbai: An Explorative Study." In addition, I received my MPS/M.Phil. in Population Studies from the same institute in 2012, with a thesis titled "Regional Variation in Child Immunization in Maharashtra." From January 9, 2020, to August 31, 2021, I worked as a Project Officer at IIPS Mumbai on a qualitative and quantitative analysis-based project called “Protection of Children Affected by Seasonal Migration: A Study in Jalna District, Maharashtra (UNICEF Sponsored Project). I worked as a Project Manager for the Centre for Operations Research and Training (CORT) on the Longitudinal Aging Study in India (LASI) for the Maharashtra project of IIPS Mumbai (January 2018 to April 2019). I worked as a consultant with India Health Action Trust, a technical support unit of the state of Uttar Pradesh, on the formulation of Program Implementation Plans for the NRHM program. My job responsibilities included information gathering from the UP-DPMU of public health centers, identifying obstacles to institutional delivery, and preparing a plan for program implementation with a budget sheet to strengthen health centers. I have also worked as a research officer at IIPS Mumbai for four months (14 April 2012 to 30 August 2012) on the socio-economic condition of Nepali migrants in Mumbai. In my research articles and professional currier, I've used quantitative and qualitative analysis software like STATA, SPSS, and NVIVO. I've published three research papers in a variety of prestigious journals, as well as one book. One of my published papers won the Science Father (SF) International Research Award on New Science Invention for Best Research. Total-experience: I have total experience of 3 years and 5 months (41 months) in the field of Social Sciences and Public Health.

Intergenerational changes in issues related to the education of the cobbler community in Mumbai
International Journal of Educational Development. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.ijedudev.2020.102214
Most cobblers of the first generation were illiterate. however, a younger generation became literate. The last two generations assisted their fathers in cobbling work; they even had to do part-time jobs/work to meet their financial needs for continuing education. The young generation of cobblers is seeking to overcome certain socio-economic obstacles in order to achieve a brighter future for reaching their goals. As a result, there is upward educational mobility between generations.
