We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Email Deliverability Specialist to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful delivery of email campaigns to the recipient's inbox while maintaining a high sender reputation and compliance with email marketing best practices. This is a freelance/remote position with flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Email Deliverability Optimization:
Monitor, analyze, and improve email deliverability rates.
Identify and resolve deliverability issues, including spam filtering, blacklisting, and sender reputation concerns.
Sender Reputation Management:
Manage IP warm-ups and authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
Maintain a positive sender reputation across various domains.
Email Campaign Analysis:
Track metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, bounce rates, and spam complaints.
Provide actionable insights to improve campaign performance.
Compliance and Best Practices:
Ensure compliance with global email regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL).
Implement industry-standard best practices for email marketing.
Technical Troubleshooting:
Address technical issues related to email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, SendGrid and Amazon SES).
Work with IT teams to troubleshoot DNS records and server issues.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as an Email Deliverability Specialist or a similar role.
Expertise in email marketing tools (e.g., SendGrid, Amazon SES, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo).
Strong knowledge of email protocols, including SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and feedback loops.
Familiarity with email analytics tools and monitoring platforms (e.g., Google Postmaster, Postmark, MXToolBox).
In-depth understanding of spam filtering technologies and email regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM tools.
Knowledge of DNS configuration and server-side troubleshooting.
