I am based in Kolkata (India) and running a business in the name of "Zetek Systems". I have a good hardware setup and a team for fabrication and testing. Following is the outline of my solution: A program running in PC/Laptop will communicate with a AT89S52 micro-controller based hardware through USB/COM port. The hardware will have 48 no. 2CO miniature Relays. There will be 2 no. 96 pin connectors to connect both end of the flat cables. Once initiated the micro-controller will excite the relays one by one and check each wire of the cable and the communicate the result to the PC end program, which will do the file handling job. You have written in the project description the following: " It has to measure Open circuit or Short circuit, no impedance nor capacitance, etc: " I am assuming that you mean the following: " It has to measure Open circuit or Short circuit only, neither impedance nor capacitance".
