Cyber Security Consultant (Must speak German)

One of our client is looking for a Microsoft Sentinel Security Consultant with bilingual proficiency in German and English.
The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage Microsoft Sentinel environments to ensure robust security monitoring and incident response capabilities, strong communication skills in both languages, and the ability to support technical bid preparation for cybersecurity projects.
This role requires a combination of technical acumen, bid management experience, and customer-facing skills to help deliver successful proposals and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Microsoft Expertise
o Design, implement, and optimize Microsoft Sentinel solutions for enterprise clients.
o Configure Sentinel data connectors, analytics rules, and automation workflows.
o Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Sentinel-related issues.
o Design, implement, and manage cloud solutions primarily Azure, ensuring security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud infrastructure.
2. Technical Bid Support
o Collaborate with sales, pre-sales, and technical teams to prepare and deliver compelling technical bids and proposals for Microsoft Sentinel projects.
o Analyze customer requirements and propose tailored Sentinel solutions that align with their security needs.
o Create technical documentation, solution designs.
o Present technical solutions to clients, addressing both technical and business concerns.
3. Client Engagement
o Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on Microsoft Sentinel’s capabilities and benefits.
o Conduct workshops and presentations in both German and English to educate clients on Sentinel solutions.
o Act as a liaison between technical teams and German-speaking clients to ensure clear communication and understanding.
4. Incident Response & Threat Management
o Support clients in setting up incident response processes using Microsoft Sentinel.
o Perform threat hunting and analysis using Sentinel’s advanced tools.
o Provide post-incident analysis and recommendations to improve security posture.
Experience:
• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, Cloud security
• 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Sentinel
• Proven experience in technical bid preparation and client-facing roles.
• Strong understanding of SOC operations and SIEM solutions.
Certifications (Preferred):
• Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Azure cloud, Microsoft Sentinel designing, Implementation, security tool integrations, Microsoft defender for endpoints, Identity, including KQL (Kusto Query Language).
• Strong understanding of Azure services and security features.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender suite (e.g., Defender for Endpoint, Office 365).
• Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
