Diapositiva 2: Nuevas Obligaciones para Armadores Para alcanzar estos objetivos, se han establecido nuevas obligaciones para los armadores: Cálculo del EEXI: Se introduce el Índice de Eficacia Energética para buques existentes que igualen o superen las 5.000 toneladas de arqueo bruto. Este cálculo es esencial para evaluar y mejorar la eficiencia energética de nuestros buques actuales. Reporte del CII: El Indicador de Intensidad en Carbono debe ser calculado y reportado anualmente. Este indicador nos permitirá monitorear y reportar nuestro progreso en la reducción de emisiones. Proceso de Calificación: Los buques serán evaluados y calificados según su eficiencia energética. Este proceso incentivará mejoras continuas y destacará a aquellos que lideran en prácticas sostenibles. Implementación de Medidas: Es necesario implementar acciones que cumplan con los parámetros mínimos establecidos en el Convenio MARPOL. Esto asegura que todos operemos bajo estándares internacionales reconocidos. Diapositiva 3: Estrategias de Reducción de Emisiones Una de las estrategias más comunes es la reducción de velocidad. Navegar a velocidad reducida es eficaz para disminuir las emisiones de CO2. Sin embargo, debemos considerar las implicaciones que esto tiene: Desafíos y Consecuencias: Reducir la velocidad puede llevar a complicaciones en las operaciones marítimas, posibles incumplimientos de contratos y afectar los tiempos de entrega en el comercio internacional. Es vital encontrar un equilibrio que nos permita ser más sostenibles sin perjudicar la eficiencia y fiabilidad de nuestros servicios.
