Collaborated with an NITK IT professor to develop an Image Captioning model using VGG16 and the Flickr8K dataset. Led the creation of the solution from scratch, integrating VGG16 for image features and LSTM for generating context-aware captions. Managed the entire model pipeline, including data preprocessing and sequence generation. Enhanced expertise in Python, TensorFlow, Keras, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, strengthening skills in computer vision and natural language processing.
