I'm in need of a software that can aggregate stock data from the National Stock Exchange and compile it into an Excel report.
Key Project Requirements:
- Data Retrieval: The software needs to fetch specific data from the National Stock Exchange, including stock prices and other relevant information like contracts, change in open interest data, long buildups, short buildups, long unwinding & short covering.
- Data Compilation: The software should be able to compile this data into an Excel report. You will be dealing with around 40-60 data sheets, each consisting of data backdated for up to 3 months.
- Report Generation: The final output should be a comprehensive Excel report with the daily close prices of the stock or index.
Ideal Skills:
- Proficient in Excel: Ability to handle complex data manipulation within Excel.
- Experience with Stock Data: Previous experience with stock market data and analysis is a plus.
- Software Development: Knowledge of software development to create a program that can automate the data collection and processing( Python preferable/ also open to any new language if it works for me)
- Attention to Detail: The nature of this project requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
The excel i am attaching is a sample sheet which we want to create it holds all stocks that are traded in the Futures and Option segements, we will be adding some more parameters to this excel in this new project.
