The goal is a CLI script that can automate the web page http://geometricolor.ch...in Perl, so I could at least have a chance to understand what is done [2]. The problem is that the target page is heavily using JavaScript and the IDs for text fields etc. are not shown in the HTML body. I had to use the Firefox Inspector to retrieved the IDs. I do not know if automation modules like can handle this.
