My story is a testament to a life experience many people may have had the misfortune of experiencing fragments. However, I have yet to meet anyone who has experienced a journey so extraordinary. It has become a legacy, a cautionary tale to be observed but never replicated, which is now my right to leave, hoping that it is viewed but never re-enacted. Too many lives have been lost or shattered while performing the same duties I once did. Ultimately, I realised it was all futile, a tragic waste. As a young man, I served in the British Army. This is where my story starts. Subsequently decorated for my contributions to Special Operations in Northern Ireland, where both Overt and Covert operations were conducted. I can never go back to that Island for reasons that will become apparent....
