I have a PhD in Physical Geography from Ghent University, MSc in Geoinformatics (GIS and Remote Sensing) from University of Twente, and did my postdoctoral research (Universite Libre De Bruxelles) in mapping and monitoring flood hazards in using Sentinel satellite image, also extracting spatial information from Twitter data for mapping flood hazards. As a GIS expert and spatial data analyst, I am skilled in utilizing a variety of GIS software packages and programming languages, including Python and R. With a strong background in spatial data analysis and management, I bring expertise in developing and implementing complex analytical workflows, including geoprocessing and geostatistical modeling. Additionally, my experience with spatial data management using GIS software and MySQL allows me to effectively organize and maintain large datasets, while ensuring data accuracy and consistency. With a passion for data-driven insights, I am constantly seeking new ways to leverage spatial data to solve complex problem
