Hi, We plan to develop your project in Magento CMS. you can have different "Store" for different types of items, and different "Store Views" for showing those stores in different languages. We will develop a "Catalog" for "Categories" and under those categories we will show "Products". Each product will be associated with "Attributes" such as color, cost etc. based on which you can configure "Wholesale" customer groups and apply special pricing such as sales tax exemption. We will develop a system to "Opt-in" your visitors for Newsletters and sending you Request For Quotation(RFQ) with "Validation" functionality. We will even develop a "Store Locator" Map displayed in the site to pinpoint geographical location of stores. Mobile app for your site can also be developed provided you extend your budget a bit further. We can integrate appropriate "Landing pages" before your visitors get to the "Shopping Cart". How many products would you need loaded to start the market place? This gives me a better idea of how much work is involved outside of the commerce application.
