VPS Management & WordPress Maintenance Expert

I'm in need of a seasoned web developer to help manage and maintain my VPS. This server runs some custom app/code as well as a WordPress site with DIVI. The ideal candidate would be proficient in server maintenance, handling updates for custom app/code, and managing the WordPress site.
Key responsibilities:
- Regular server maintenance
- Updating and troubleshooting custom app/code
- Comprehensive management of our WordPress site
- Conduct regular backups and management of the database
- Perform routine security audits and implement necessary measures
- Optimize server and application performance
- Develop and maintain a disaster recovery plan
- Manage user permissions and access controls
- Set up monitoring and alert systems for early issue detection
- Maintain and update custom scripts used on the server
- Handle installation and updates of server software
Essential skills:
- Expert knowledge in Linux server management
- Proficient in PHP programming
- Extensive experience with WordPress
I prefer to handle updates and troubleshooting during scheduled maintenance windows, so the ability to plan and execute maintenance tasks accordingly is crucial. Your expertise will ensure the smooth running of our server and sites, allowing us to focus on our core business.
The scheduled maintenance will be carried out on a monthly basis. Please provide updates and progress reports through email for consistent communication. Implement basic security measures, including regular patches and updates. Scheduled maintenance will only be carried outside of business hours.
Please implement daily full backups to ensure data protection.
