The following are the improvements and verifications required for the virtual campus system. The main objective is to resolve existing issues and add functionality to ensure an efficient and robust workflow.
The script has separate files for administrator, teacher and student, so the changes to be implemented should be replicated based on this structure.
1. Fix CKEditor problem with modal windows
Problem: When trying to insert images using CKEditor, the field crashes and cannot continue.
Requirements: Identify and resolve the problem that prevents the correct use of CKEditor in modal windows.
Ensure that CKEditor functions (e.g., insertion of images, HTML code, and other elements) are working correctly.
Test compatibility on multiple browsers and devices.
Complete deletion of tasks, users and other items 2.
Requirements: Ensure that deleting tasks, users or other records from the system also removes them from the database.
For related attachments:
-Safely delete the associated files from the server.
-Check that no orphaned files remain after deletion.
-Implement validation tests to avoid incomplete deletions or errors during the process.
3. File upload management
General requirements: Ensure that each file uploaded by the teacher profile has a unique identifier to avoid duplicates or overwriting of files with the same name.
-Enable multiple file uploads for both teachers and students.
-Provide an option to add more attachments or modify existing ones before confirming the upload.
Technical considerations:
Validate allowed file types (e.g., .jpg, .png, .pdf, .docx, etc.).
Set size limits for uploaded files (easily modified by the administrator).
Ensure that uploaded files are stored in organized directories, using a clear structure (e.g. YEAR MONTH DAY HOURS SECONDS).
4. Modifications of assignments based on teacher and student profile.
Requirements:
Verify that you can delete, add or modify attachments when editing an assignment as a teacher.
Verify that CKEditor allows full editing of content, including:
Text.
Previously inserted HTML code.
Images.
Implement a system that allows editing multiple items attached to an assignment without the need to re-create the assignment.
