Request the following javascript to show time left before shipping cutoff on a webpage: a. create javascript that obtains UTC time b. display hours, minutes second difference between UTC and 2p EDT. c. if it is past 2p EDT, countdown from the 2p EDT on the next day. d. if today is after 2p Friday or today is saturday or today is sunday countdown from 2p Monday Looking to deploy a timestamp a la Amazon for customers to see when the daily shipping cutoff is. This must coordinate their timezone vs UTC to calculate the respective difference and time left.

As I am at least an advanced JavaScript programmer and I have 38 years of programming overall, I am sure I can do this. Indeed, I wrote a good part of the code in my head as I read your spec. What I will do is provide you with a JavaScript function that will compute and return the cut-off time as a string that will be ready to display as is. If the site has, or can have, a div or p tag with an ID that will be the place on the page that the time will be displayed, the function can also insert the string directly into the page. As an extra feature, if you want, a timer could be set up that would trigger the function at, for example, one minute intervals, so that the cut-off time is always accurate. I would like to send you my actual resume so you get a better idea of my experience and skills.
