Job Title: Freelance Graphic & Web Visual Designer
Description:
We are seeking a skilled freelance graphic designer to enhance the visual impact of our website. The first project will involve reviewing the homepage, sourcing, and editing images with a unique semi-transparent effect that integrates seamlessly into the website's design. The selected images should feature people and creatively blend with the site’s background, allowing parts of the website's original background to be visible. If the initial project is successful, we’ll proceed with similar updates across other pages.
Responsibilities:
Analyze the current homepage design and identify opportunities for impactful visuals.
Source or create images of people that feature a semi-transparent effect, blending with the website background.
Edit and optimize images to ensure seamless integration with the website layout and branding.
Collaborate with the team to ensure alignment with design expectations and overall branding.
Extend the approach to other website pages upon successful completion of the homepage project.
Requirements:
Proven experience in graphic design with a focus on web visuals, particularly in creating custom effects like semi-transparency.
Expertise in image editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
Strong portfolio showcasing creative use of image effects and web design integration.
Attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics that align with modern web design standards.
Ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively with the team.
Deliverables for the First Project:
A set of edited images for the homepage with semi-transparent effects that blend seamlessly with the website background.
Images optimized for web performance (fast loading, proper sizing, and formats).
Suggestions for placement and integration into the existing design.
