I'm seeking a proactive and experienced professional to automate my small business. Currently, we have a single manager handling approximately 250 customers, spending the majority of her time managing sports games on WhatsApp. The goal is to streamline our operations to a corporate level and improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automate customer management tasks including inquiries, account tracking, and scheduling sports games.
- Administer and improve our current systems (spreadsheets, Xero, potential Ecwid for e-commerce).
- Take ownership of existing issues and resolve them through automation.
Ideal Skills:
- Proficiency in Linux system administration.
- Experience with automation tools and software.
- Strong understanding of customer management systems.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms like Ecwid.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative.
The objective is to create a scalable, automated system that can support substantial growth. You will essentially be automating yourself out of the job, but the work will continue as this niche has vast potential if automated properly. Your first task will be to enhance the efficiency of our current operations, and then continuously improve and automate as we grow. Communication with our customers will primarily be through WhatsApp, so an understanding of this platform is beneficial.
