We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Development Executive specializing in import and export with extensive knowledge of the automotive spare parts industry. The successful candidate will be instrumental in expanding our market presence, forging strategic partnerships, and ensuring seamless international trade operations. This role offers a dynamic and challenging environment where negotiation, market analysis, and strategic relationship management are critical to success.
***Key Responsibilities***
1. Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in both local and international markets.
Develop and maintain long-term partnerships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
2. Manage and oversee the end-to-end import/export process, ensuring strict compliance with trade regulations, customs documentation, and international policies.
3. Conduct in-depth market research to analyze industry trends, understand competitive dynamics, and identify client needs to drive sales strategies.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and timely order fulfillment.
5. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to support business development planning and performance reviews.
6. Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and business meetings to enhance brand visibility and expand the client base.
***Qualifications and Requirements***
1. Based in Malaysia.
2. Fluency in English and Chinese (additional language proficiency is an advantage).
3. Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, or a related field.
4. A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in business development, specifically in import/export within the automotive spare parts industry.
5. Strong knowledge of international trade laws, documentation, and customs regulations.
6. Exceptional skills in negotiation, communication, and relationship management.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
